Doosan Infracore: |
Formerly Daewoo Machine Tools which was purchased in 2004 by Doosan Corp. now known as Doosan Infracore USA. They are the third largest machine tool builder in the world and Fanuc’s # 1 customer. With a product line that covers almost all possible machining applications imaginable they are a major player. They manufacture a full line of turning centers from a very popular line of 2 axis machines, live tool lathes with and without sub – spindles and Y axis. Twin spindle / twin turret lathes have become a large part of their product mix along with the MX series that is equipped with a 10,000 RPM / 20 HP milling spindle on the upper slide. They have a nice line up of VTL’s from 12” chuck machines up to 50” max turn diameter / with and without live tooling. Almost any model can be equipped with a Doosan factory built gantry loading system. If you need to turn parts, they have the solution! They manufacture a full line of vertical and horizontal machining centers with box and linear way models. Along with these machining centers they build 3 models of horizontal boring mills.

Their rail guided vehicle are modular in design for ease of add on of machines and pallets in the future.
